Responsibilities
- Select, use, and maintain service tools correctly to perform assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Install electrical components, including switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, and control panels.
- Perform engine wiring installation in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Disassemble and assemble engine components, including oil pumps, water pumps, cylinder heads, and related parts.
- Carry out engine valve lash adjustments to ensure optimal engine performance.
- Assist in and perform mechanical installation works, including radiator assemblies, couplings, engines, alternators, gearboxes, piping systems, and hoses.
- Assist in and perform alignment works for radiator assemblies, engines, and alternator installations.
- Prepare generator sets for load testing activities.
- Conduct safety device testing and load testing, including recording and documenting all required operational parameters and test results.
- Connect and utilize Electronic Technician (ET) diagnostic tools to retrieve engine diagnostic codes, event logs, and operational data.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on engines and generators, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Possess an ITE or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Electrical hands-on experience is a must.
