Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by conducting meetings, ensuring training compliance, and partnering with EHS&S to meet performance targets.
  • Lead daily operations for Arpac, Shipping/Warehouse, and Packaging to achieve productivity, quality, and service goals.
  • Ensure shipments are completed on time, in full, and accurately.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy, oversee cycle counts/physical inventories, and manage ERP transactions and adjustments.
  • Ensure proper ordering and availability of department supplies.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain effective procedures and workplace standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with non-palletized, single-unit handling preferred.
  • Forklift experience required; certification and experience with combi lifts preferred.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control and ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Ability to safely operate high-capacity forklifts (10,000+ lb).
