Position Summary The Non-Operated Reservoir Engineer is a technical based, individual contributor role, focused on basin wide Unconventional Bakken subsurface evaluations and asset management. This position is located in Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions Conduct continuous integrated evaluation of geologic, engineering, and production data to support AFE Evaluation, ensure forecast reliability, and deliver strong economic outcomes. Develop and maintain type curves; forecast well performance, production, and reserves to support planning, budgeting, and accrual processes. Evaluate economics of drilling, leasing, and capital investment decisions, including lookbacks to assess capital efficiency and improve future performance. Support acquisition and divestiture (A&D) efforts through technical evaluations, due diligence, valuations, and participation in opportunity assessment. Apply data analytics, large dataset management, and machine learning techniques to enhance evaluation quality and decision-making speed. Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and senior management. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and share best practices and innovative workflows with Asset Management, Business Development, and the broader organization.
