Program Analyst

About the role

This position is located in the Bureau of Administration, Directorate of Domestic Operations and Emergency Services. Incumbent will serve as a senior level analyst and authoritative advisor reporting to the Chief of Staff for the Deputy Assistant Secretary, Managing Directors, COS, and A/DOES Office Directors on a wide variety of major issues involving the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and modification of the Bureau of Administration's operational plans. Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement. Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience receiving, digesting, and communicating complex information both orally and in writing. Experience coordinating and advising on work efforts and projects, working effectively with senior management and colleagues to meet deadlines and satisfy both internal and external requirements. Experience with customer service that is focused on delivering high-quality products and services. Experience in developing and maintaining key professional relationships to keep everyone in the loop and tasks on track. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
