Each of our ingredients responds to unique and essential needs, and they enable healthier lifestyles. The plant engineer acts as the main contact person for technical issues in plant operations. He or she uses technical knowledge to optimize operational processes, solve problems in the plant, and ensure the safe and environmentally friendly production of high-quality products. The role works closely with maintenance, support functions, and internal raw material suppliers. The position also includes responsibility for identifying and implementing improvements in the LV plant. Main Tasks: Implementation of environmental, health, and safety requirements Ensuring quality requirements in accordance with GMP and food safety standards in the manufacture of METHOCEL products for pharmaceutical and food technology applications Understanding METHOCEL process technology for the manufacture of low-viscosity products, establishing systems and control systems to optimize process flows and steps Maximizing plant performance and ensuring efficient, quality-oriented production Working closely with technical advisors and operating personnel to achieve production, cost, quality, and EH&S targets Performing root cause analyses in the event of malfunctions and implementing sustainable corrective measures Supporting the optimization of process flows via the process control system Creating and maintaining up-to-date operating instructions and process descriptions Supporting budget planning and employee training; communicating technical issues to relevant interfaces Qualification: Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or comparable Minimum of 5 years of experiences Strong EH&S focus and process safety expertise Excellent interpersonal & problem solving skills coupled with a strong technical background.
