Responsibilities

  • Visual design obsessed: you're passionate about visual design, motion, and creating digital experiences.
  • A proactive attitude, curiosity, and drive: we expect you to make the most of the opportunities you'll get!
  • Have experience in working with leading design tools such as Figma. Experience with animation software, like Jitter, is a plus.
  • Have a convincing portfolio with Visual Design related projects (think interface design, motion, design systems)
  • Experience with AI tools and integrating them into your design process is a big plus. We love a future-proof mindset!
  • Hard Requirements
  • You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship
  • Availability of 5 days per week (40h), from September 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
  • You are confident in English - whether you're writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team. Dutch language skills are a plus, but not a requirement; we value diverse backgrounds and language skills.

During your internship as a Visual Designer, you'll wear many hats: UI Designer: A keen eye for typography, color schemes, visual hierarchy, and design rationales. You combine these visual elements effortlessly to turn UX wireframes into interfaces and components. Prototyper: Crafting interactive prototypes with best-of-class UI animations. Motion-master: Add that "wow" factor with buttery-smooth transitions and micro-interactions in Figma or tools like Jitter. System-builder: Deep dive into design systems, playing with component variants, and building scalable libraries. Trend spotter: You are aware of the latest trends within the design field, so that you can implement them into your design projects Storyteller: Craft killer presentations that bring our creative vision to life for clients and stakeholders.
