The compensation target for this role is: $85,000 - $100,000Job SummaryOur values of Safety, Communication, Employee Development, Accountability, Innovation, and Community guide us as we explore new ideas and designs that lie just beyond the horizon.We'd love for you to join our team as we discover new and better ways to sleep better and live Purple!Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to align sourcing activities with project timelines with a focus on new product developmentAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry dynamics to inform sourcing decisions.Monitor and assess supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Collaborate with the Product Development team to identify new materials and components that align with product requirements and innovation goals.Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in sourcing and procurement.Required Skills, Education, Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
