SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring that proper maintenance and repair has been administered to Tyson vehicles and equipment and for ensuring that vehicles are returned to the customer in a timely fashion. Specific responsibilities include ordering parts and keeping the inventory updated overseeing the Team Members and directing them to the jobs that have top priority and keeping driver files current including attendance vacation and scheduling regular driver physicals. Other responsibilities include keeping all equipment DOT and OSHA approved conducting fleet safety meetings and coordinating fuel and tire purchases. Other duties include purchasing material handling equipment such as forklifts trailers etc. coordinating the daily shop operations and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
