Location: Royal Canin - Lebanon, TN Required Shift: Days- 6:00 am to 6:30 pm 4 days on- 4 days off The scope of the Grinding Utility Operator is to move product inside the site, load trailers for shipment, and complete shipment paperwork. Training will be provided. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma / GED Forklift experience required -Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment Ability to act with disciplined initiative Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data - Solid understanding of health and safety regulations Basic math and recording abilities Keen eye for detail Good verbal and written communication skills 1+ years' experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline Ability to read, write and understand English. Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan. Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.). Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping. Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment. Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
