Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for customers including diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and optimization of Standard Bots robots
- Conduct preventive maintenance visits and safety inspections to ensure optimal robot performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues both on-site and remotely
- Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing when on-site visits are not required

Requirements
- Travel Requirement: This role will travel up to 80% of the time
- Associate degree or higher in a technical field, engineering, mechatronics, or related discipline
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems
- Proven experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting at customer sites
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel extensively (60-80% field time)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various manufacturing environments
- Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Located within 1 hour of a major airport
- Previous experience with collaborative robots (cobots) or industrial robot maintenance and repair
- Experience with PLC systems, industrial controllers, or automation networks
- Familiarity with machine vision systems, sensors, grippers, and end-of-arm tooling
- Programming knowledge in Python, C++, or robot programming languages
- Experience with Linux/Ubuntu operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Certifications in robotics, electrical safety, or related technical disciplines
