Job Description: Assisting the surgical specialist and nurses in the care and treatment of inpatients. Monitoring critical patients in the wards. Client communication. Attend in-patient rounds and engage in self-learning such as attending continuing development lectures and reading of books and journals. Assist nurses with triage and assist with new case admissions. Aid with monitoring and recovery of cases. Assist with taking radiographs. Restraining patients for examination and treatments. Cleaning cages/brooders, laundry, food bowls, and making sure the ward area is always presentable. Feeding patients. Desired skills and experience: Candidate should at least possess a diploma in veterinary technology/nursing. Experience in a GP veterinary clinic/hospital would be advantageous.
