Senior Direct Tax Compliance

Responsibilities

• You'll support other IQ-EQ departments, provide and share direct tax expertise during day-to-day business
• You'll ensure timely and correct review, preparation, and filing of direct tax returns
• You'll handle timely and correct day-to-day specific direct tax requirements of the clients
• You'll meet deadlines with the direct tax team as well as with the accounting teams
• You'll keep your portfolio updated and provide regular feedback to your Line Manager
• You'll keep internal systems for workflow monitoring and planning up to date, and help to further improve these systems
• You'll prepare Corporate Income tax returns, Corporate Tax provisions, withholding tax returns, as well as review tax assessments for a wide variety of clients
• You'll proactively participate in projects related to the improvement of tax reporting internal processes and templates
• You'll assist on ad-hoc projects such as DAC6, Pillar II, and Transfer Pricing if needed
• You'll liaise with clients, accountants, lawyers, corporate officers, and tax administration
• You have +4 years' experience
• You are motivated and have a good understanding of accounting/tax and curious to learn more are Luxembourg Taxation and the finance environment
• You will be comfortable in multicultural environments built on a shared culture of team spirit, mutual respect and openness.
• You have a proficient level in working with MS Office applications and knowledge in Artificial intelligence will be considered as an advantage
• You are fluent in English. French and/or German would be preferable with any other language being an advantage
