Senior Revit BIM Modeller - ICT & Security

Requirements

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Bluebeam, and issue tracking workflows.
• Familiarity with Australian standards and typical client expectations for security/ICT documentation.
• Experience in secure environments (e.g., Defence, critical infrastructure, justice, aviation, health).
• Capability to develop and maintain Revit families, templates, and QA checklists.
• Relevant drafting/technical qualification (e.g., Diploma/Advanced Diploma) or equivalent experience.
• Additional Microsoft 365 certifications with a SharePoint administration focus are highly regarded.
• Security Clearance
• You must hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, an Australian Government Baseline security clearance.
• Australian citizenship is a mandatory requirement to obtain a Security Clearance.

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Senior Revit BIM Modeller - ICT & Security to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality BIM documentation for communications and electronic security systems across complex building and infrastructure projects. You'll work within a team delivering projects across Defence, Health, Transport, and Government sectors. Most work is site-based, hybrid, or remote depending on project phase. You'll report to the Team Lead and collaborate directly with senior engineers, and discipline leads on projects spanning new builds, retrofits, and critical infrastructure. How you'll make a difference First, BIM production: Revit model setup, worksets, views, schedules, and family management for comms and security packages. You'll produce device layouts, backbone pathways, cable containment, comms room details, and schematics that reflect actual system design. Second, coordination and QA: clash detection (Navisworks), model validation, viewpoint creation, and interface resolution with architecture, structures, electrical, and mechanical teams. Third, team and standards support: SharePoint project site administration (permissions, libraries, metadata, version control), mentoring of junior officers, and continuous improvement of templates and documentation standards. Please apply, all applications will be considered. Significant experience delivering communications and electronic security documentation on buildings/infrastructure projects. Advanced Revit proficiency for services modeling and documentation, including family creation, worksharing, and coordination. Strong coordination skills with architecture, structures, electrical, and mechanical disciplines; familiarity with Navisworks. Practical understanding of ICT/security system documentation conventions (e.g., CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion/duress, pathways/backbone, comms rooms). Experience administering Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online sites for project teams, including permissions, libraries, metadata, and version control. Relevant Microsoft 365/SharePoint certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) demonstrating SharePoint administration competency-for example, a Microsoft 365 Administrator/Enterprise Administrator credential or equivalent industry-recognised certification. Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a multi‑discipline environment.
