About the role
You will lead and deliver data migration outcomes across transfer agency and unit registry platforms. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with complex datasets while also setting direction, driving standards, and owning delivery across migration workstreams. Key Details Lead-level individual contributor Scope to build and support a growing team Key Accountabilities Own end-to-end data migration delivery across projects and BAU Define data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation approaches Lead complex data analysis and issue resolution activities Build and validate SQL-based solutions supporting migration and reconciliation Execute and oversee data loads, validation, and reconciliation outcomes Ensure data quality, integrity, and auditability across all stages Establish and drive scalable, repeatable migration patterns Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve data issues Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, and delivery methods Provide guidance and oversight to other analysts, supporting capability uplift over time Tools and Technology SQL Server / T-SQL Advanced Excel Data migration and reconciliation frameworks AI-assisted tools for: SQL query generation and optimisation (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, code assistants) Data quality and anomaly detection Automation and scripting support What You Bring Strong experience delivering data migrations in financial services Proven ability to take ownership and drive delivery outcomes Hands-on capability in: Data analysis Data mapping and transformation Data reconciliation Strong SQL development capability Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS) Ability to operate across both project delivery and BAU environments Strong problem-solving capability, able to break down complex data issues and drive practical solutions Focus on continuous improvement, actively identifying and implementing better ways of working Willingness to challenge existing approaches and apply innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Clear communication, able to engage technical and business stakeholders Domain Experience (Preferred) SE Asian financial services exposure preferred Transfer Agency / Unit Registry platforms Managed funds, custody, or superannuation Financial data structures and lifecycle events #LI-SM1 #CA-SM We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
