- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Essential
- Coordinates, manages, directs, and reports daily activities of the Security staff in the protection of Kaweah Health patients, visitors, staff and property.
- Assists Security Manager in developing, revising and implementing security policies and procedures in compliance with Kaweah Health policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
- Reviews and evaluates reports prepared by security staff regarding investigations of reports of criminal activities.
- Conducts follow-up investigation of reports of criminal activity.
- Supervises security personnel, participates in the interviewing and selection of applicants for employment, reviews employee performance, conducts training for Security staff, and applies Kaweah Health and personnel policy to daily operations.
- Intervenes whenever conditions exist that pose an immediate threat to life or health, or poses a threat to equipment or the facility.
- Assists department managers/directors and administrators in enforcing safety regulations and codes.
