About the role

We are looking for a reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse team at the Port of Brisbane. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching customer orders safely and accurately. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep stock organised and ensure orders leave the warehouse on time.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Receive, count and check incoming goods
  • Check deliveries against orders and delivery paperwork
  • Label and safely store products
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
  • Complete shipping and transport documentation
  • Arrange collections with transport providers
  • Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
  • Enter receiving, dispatch and stock information into the warehouse system
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area

Requirements

  • A current Australian forklift licence
  • Current Chain of Responsibility training
  • Previous stores, warehouse or dispatch experience
  • Confidence using computers and warehouse or inventory systems
  • Good attention to detail when checking stock and paperwork
  • A reliable and safety-focused approach
  • The ability to organise your workload and meet dispatch deadlines
  • Experience using Epicor or another ERP system and a warehousing or logistics qualification would be helpful but are not essential.
  • Applicants must currently hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia. Employer-sponsored visa support is not available for this position.
