JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate the Residency Program by maintaining statistical reports and records for ACGME. Maintains all residency files, including resident evaluations. Compiles data, completes surveys and submits reports on residency program to the Program Director & Departmental Administrator Maintain Residency ACGME accreditation. Timely submission of reports and evaluations as pertains to the resident requirements, and program application with necessary. - Process residency applications. Assist residents in obtaining visas and appropriate licensure. Assist in the development of recruitment strategies. - Viable accredited residency program. - Coordinates residency interviews and special events relating to the residents, such as graduation, special meetings for the program as assigned by the Residency Program Director and the Department Director. - Visibility of the program is enhanced. Professional work life is simplified relating to administrative functions, both clinical and academic. - Act as liaison to the resident house staff office - Problems are addressed as they arise and solutions are sought. - Ensure that all physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners meet credential criteria and maintain institutional requirements for established physicians. - Ensure proper credentials for the department. - Acts as a liaison to the Institution's Credentialing office - Ensure proper and timely credentials of all residents, faculty, and mid-level providers. - Coordinate activities and perform required clerical support as Program requirements dictate. - Program parameters and deadlines are met, files are current, correspondence is timely and complete, key personnel and contracts are identified. - Provides phone support to the program when needed. - Creation of a work environment that supports a high quality of work life. Supports and encourages a good educational experience for residents' program. - Other assigned duties - Expedites daily operations and activities assigning or performing various tasks as required.
