About the role

As a Corporate Development Associate, you will be at the center of Scout's most critical initiatives, working directly with the executive team and cross functionally with leaders across the company on high-impact projects. Your work will span strategy, finance, partnerships, and execution, helping shape the trajectory of the company. Requirements

  • 2 to 6 years of experience at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm, with a history of outstanding performance
  • Undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with the skill to communicate clearly and influence senior decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to move seamlessly between quantitative and qualitative work, whether building models, writing strategy memos, or delivering executive-level presentations
  • Deep curiosity about defense, AI, and/or autonomy, and motivation to contribute to a mission of consequence
  • Highly proactive and action-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
