Torch Technologies is seeking a Network Services - Computer Support Engineer/ Analyst (Junior) to perform network and computer support for Air Force Human Resources Systems Division (AF HRSD). The person that fills this position will advise and perform work that involves planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats. Support is provided to Information Technology (IT) Networks supporting the AF HRSD Portfolio which is responsible for the maintenance and sustainment of military and civilian legacy Human Resources (HR) Systems and the development of new IT capabilities which support AF personnel processes needed to acquire, train, promote and retire Total Air Force personnel. This position supports the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES)/GBH Human Resources Systems Division. As a Network Services-Computer Support Engineer/ Analyst (Junior) your duties include, but are not limited to: Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading computer operating systems and software and/or network operating systems software. Performing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support for organizational IT systems and devices. Performing help organizational desk support. Perform organizational system access management and procedures required to grant network access. Analyzing and recommending network requirements; Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure. Analyzing network workload. Monitoring network capacity and performance. Diagnosing and resolving network problems. Recommending network backup and recovery procedures. Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. Bachelor's degree in a related field and up to 2 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed. OR 5 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 3 of which must be in the DoW. Must have experience with Windows Operating Systems. Must have experience with Unix, .NET, Java, Java, JavaScript. MS Office Applications - MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. Required to hold and maintain an IAT/IAM level II certification (Minimum of Security+; equivalent or higher certification). Must have and maintain an Active Secret Clearance (required to start)
