Responsibilities
- Under general direction, assist with the implementation of civil rights compliance policies, procedures, and related initiatives across The Texas A&M University System;

- Coordinate external agency complaint responses in collaboration with System members and the Texas A&M University System Office of General Counsel, ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and consistent with applicable laws and policies;
- Assist in the review of documentation related to civil rights matters, including investigation reports and decision letters submitted under Texas A&M System Regulation 08.01 .01 Civil Rights Compliance;
- Assist with the development and delivery of training and professional development sessions related to civil rights compliance, including in-person, virtual, and online training;
- Provide consultation and technical assistance to System members regarding procedural practices, case management, and training needs;
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state civil rights laws, regulations, and guidance applicable to employment and civil rights compliance;
- Organize and maintain files, reports, and records related to employee civil rights matters and compliance activities;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six years of related experience.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in complaint facilitation, employee relations, civil rights compliance, workplace investigations, or related areas
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of, or the ability to develop knowledge of, federal and state civil rights laws and regulations applicable to employment;
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism;
