Customer Deductions Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a main point of contact for non-trade deductions including reviewing validity, working with various departments to collect backup and disputing invalid deductions
• Manage non-trade deduction flow through Trade Management System; determine root causes and provide recommendations for process improvement and streamlining opportunities
• Analyze monthly non‑trade data to identify customer trends and determine opportunities for process improvement
• Monitor outstanding customer repayments related to non-trade deductions, working with stakeholders to ensure timely repayments and coordinate transactions between departments to resolve any issues
• Manage customer portals, obtaining back up for deductions and logging dispute tickets as they occur
• Assist in overseeing the non-trade deduction system and document SOPs to support scalable departmental growth

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Business Analytics
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in an analytical, customer service, or business support role
• Strong communicator skilled at translating data insights for internal teams and effectively communicating with external customers to drive resolution
• Demonstrate above average attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working in an ERP
• Experience with Trade Management Software is considered an asset
