Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries to support timely and accurate general ledger close processes.
  • Record transactional activities including treasury/finance, corporate operating, and administrative expenses.
  • Perform monthly G/L account reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct variance analysis of corporate results and provide insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field; CPA designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion, SmartView, or Essbase is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with a goal-focused business approach.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
