  • Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • (2nd shift only position) - Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions to perform the following:
  • Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
  • Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
  • Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
  • Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
  • Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
  • General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions
  • A day in the life
  • Apply a deep understanding of a broad range of tools, lab equipment, and material handling machines to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams to deliver on production schedules.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ERP transactions and troubleshooting material discrepancies.
  • Deliver high-quality work that incorporates manufacturing best practices and exceeds team performance targets.
  • Role model safety, productivity, and quality standards, escalating risks appropriately.
