Assistant Accountant/ Senior Executive ( Tax)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for multiple entities
• Prepare audit schedules and financial statements, coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Compile consolidated unaudited financial statements for the holding company (dormant) and its overseas subsidiary
• Prepare GST submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage full sets of accounts for clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Compile unaudited financial reports and tax computations to support client needs
• Review team members' work to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist in group financial reporting processes to maintain financial integrity
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies through regular review and control activities
• Execute ad hoc finance duties assigned by management to support operational requirements
• Required competencies and certifications
• Accounting qualification and experience in an accounting firm
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Knowledge of XERO accounting software
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients in Chinese
