Murex Test Lead (Manager)-12 months contract

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test strategy, governance model, and delivery approach for Murex programs
• Lead end-to-end testing across system integration, UAT, regression, performance, and cutover phases
• Manage and mentor test leads and analysts to ensure consistent standards and delivery quality
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to validate requirements and resolve defects
• Oversee defect management, prioritization, and resolution across multiple workstreams
• Provide clear testing status, metrics, and risk assessments to program and client leadership
• Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory, risk, and control requirements in banking environments
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in testing within banking or capital markets environments
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3), covering trade lifecycle, risk, and reporting modules
• Proven experience leading testing teams on large-scale Murex implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs
• Strong understanding of financial products such as FX, interest rate derivatives, equities, or credit products
• Demonstrated experience in test management, defect tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
• Experience with Murex upgrades, migrations, or regulatory-driven initiatives
• Exposure to test automation frameworks or performance testing tools
• Experience working with global banking or financial services clients
