About the role

The Working Student - Operations Excellence & Transformation supports key strategic and operational initiatives within HARMAN Automotive Operations. The role focuses on enabling structured execution, transparency, and performance tracking across Operations, with a strong involvement in key transformation activities . Working closely with the Operations Excellence team, the position contributes to data-driven decision-making, cross-functional coordination, and preparation of executive-level deliverables . Your team You will be part of the Operations Excellence team, which drives transformation and continuous improvement across Automotive Operations. The team works closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management to align priorities, improve end-to-end processes, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate in a highly international and cross-functional environment, supporting projects with exposure to senior stakeholders and global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of transformation initiatives and projects
  • Maintain and update central trackers
  • Assist in data analysis, consolidation, and reporting
  • Contribute to the preparation of management presentations
  • Support cross-functional coordination and follow-up with stakeholders across Operations
  • Help structure and improve processes, templates, and governance materials
  • Support strategic workshops and meetings organization
  • Ensure proper documentation and file management
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses, sanity checks, and improvement initiatives
  • What you need
  • Based in the Munich area
  • Bachelor's or Master's student in Business Administration, Transformation management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and structured working approach
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Interest in operations, transformation, and project management
  • First experience in consulting or project-based environments is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment
  • Business English, Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
