Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering efforts for prototype development, from concept through integration and testing, in a small, dynamic team environment (10-20 staff)

  • Minimum Requirements for a Sr. Member of Technical Staff:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
  • 5 years of experience in prototype development or technology insertion
  • Expertise in mission concept development, requirements flow-down, and technology maturation
  • Experience throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle, with hands-on work in labs
  • Current Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
  • In addition to the requirements above, the minimum requirements for an Engineering Specialist are:
  • 8 years of total experience
  • Strong skills in technical presentations and reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)

The xLab is seeking an experienced Mission Systems Engineer (Sr. Member of Technical Staff/ Engineering Specialist - Enterprise Systems Engineering ) with a passion for solving complex problems and driving projects from concept to successful delivery and operations. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working in a collaborative Integrated Product Team with engineers from across the company to identify enabling technologies, lead key system trade-offs, and implement technical solutions that meet critical mission objectives. This is a "roll up your sleeves" systems engineering role, where you'll be deeply involved in systems integration, testing, and delivering real-world solutions that make a difference.
