Job Summary: We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to support the setup, integration, and ongoing operations of our platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in infrastructure management, network connectivity, and data integration technologies such as API-based connectors or ETL/ELT tools. This role will work closely with external agencies and internal technical teams to ensure seamless platform onboarding, integration, and system reliability. Job Responsibilities: Platform Integration & Onboarding - Prepare technical onboarding packages for external agencies, including service accounts, API tokens, access permissions, and connectivity requirements. - Provide technical guidance on integration prerequisites and credential provisioning. - Act as the primary technical contact during onboarding, troubleshooting connectivity and access issues. Connector & Data Integration Management - Configure and deploy data connectors using agency-provided credentials and access details. - Monitor data ingestion pipelines and resolve errors, failures, or data quality issues. - Maintain and update connector configurations as environments or requirements change. - Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure successful data ingestion for downstream processing. Infrastructure Operations - Manage platform infrastructure, including provisioning, patching, scaling, and system availability. - Maintain secure network connectivity through firewall rules, VPN tunnels, and proxy configurations. - Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity, and respond to incidents or outages. - Ensure infrastructure complies with security standards and governance policies. Platform Lifecycle & Change Management - Support platform setup and ramp-up, including environment provisioning and infrastructure readiness. - Participate in architecture and design discussions for platform enhancements. - Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. Job Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or systems administration. - Must have hands-on experience with data integration platforms, API-based connectors, or ETL/ELT tools. - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as firewalls, DNS, proxies, and VPNs. - Experience managing service accounts, API tokens, certificates, and credential lifecycles. - Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. - Strong troubleshooting skills across network, authentication, and application layers.
