Responsibilities
- Actively participates in patient care, notifying the supervising Physical Therapist of matters concerning the patient's condition.
- Follows the Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist and practices within state practice guidelines.

- Reports any issues needing resolution to Physical Therapists.

- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.

- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

Metro PT is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team as a floater , providing coverage throughout our Central Suffolk County region . In this full-time role, your clinic location will vary based on clinic needs and schedule demands-you'll provide care across all of our clinics in the region. You'll work closely with, and under the direction of, a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care.
