IT Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure the IT infrastructure, ensuring data availability through regular backups and cybersecurity measures.
• Supervise user accounts, permissions, and access controls according to security policies.
• Administer essential business applications, enhancing productivity across the organization.
• Provide expert troubleshooting support for hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades of hardware components while managing the IT asset inventory.
• Collaborate with departments to assess business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve business efficiencies and streamline processes.
• Analyze data requirements and develop strategies for effective data management and reporting.
• Communicate IT policies and best practices to all organizational levels and provide training as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant IT experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with software licensing is an advantage.
• Proven track record in system development methodologies and project management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
