Overview of the role: As a Part-Time Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team in the day-to-day running of core accounting activities. This role ensures accurate financial data, timely processing of transactions, and smooth operation of month-end activities. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality financial information that supports effective reporting and decision-making across the business. About you: You are organised, reliable and enjoy working with numbers. You have strong attention to detail, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and are confident managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You work well independently, communicate clearly, and are proactive in resolving queries. Above all, you are a team player who enjoys contributing to a professional and supportive finance function. Key accountabilities: AP processing, including timely and accurate entry of supplier invoices Support weekly payment runs and associated documentation Perform reconciliations across supplier statements, bank accounts, and GL accounts Support prepayment and accruals accounting as part of month-end processes Assist with fixed asset tracking, additions, disposals, and depreciation updates Act as expense system) administrator, supporting queries and maintaining accurate data
