Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Load Balancers, and AKS.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Azure CLI.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to support application deployment and infrastructure delivery.
• Monitor cloud environments, perform troubleshooting, incident management, RCA, patching, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises to Azure.
• Implement cloud security, governance, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain technical documentation and architecture designs.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering, infrastructure, or architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud operations, production support, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Terraform and automation/scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Experience designing Azure cloud architectures and independently leading end-to-end cloud migration projects.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, IAM, governance, and disaster recovery.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly preferred.
