Mechanical Engineering Intern

About the role

Assist engineers with developing test plans for HVAC unit rating, qualification and reliability testing Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing Assist engineering in product design and development Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred) Minimum GPA of 3.0 Understanding of engineering fundamentals. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Test prototypes and write reports to document results Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages) Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding) Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills Ability to perform mechanical design calculations Ability to perform basic design modifications Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans *Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
