Responsibilities
- Accounting Expertise
- Manage the monthly intercompany reconciliation process and regularly follow up on overdue balances;
- Collaborate with counterparts to resolve discrepancies in intercompany balances;
- Complete intercompany activities for Month-End Close (MEC) and lead governance meetings with stakeholders;
- Oversee the monthly close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all service provider activities;
- Execute Trial Balance reviews with qualitative validation;
- Review monthly bank reconciliations and ensure no open items remain;
- Prepare and present the cash flow statement with in-depth analysis of significant movements;
- Analyze variances and perform root cause analysis for any identified discrepancies;
- Ensure continuous improvement in accounting governance (IC balances, manual journals, Value at Risk);
- Provide technical support on SAP, Blackline, and Financekit tools;
- Report non-SAP integrated entities via manual submissions;
- Customer Service
- Be accountable for accurate delivery of accounting operations within the end-to-end service model;
- Actively participate in team meetings, proposing improvements in efficiency and service quality;
- Respond promptly to GCAD inquiries and ensure resolution of queries from countries and service providers;
- Ensure timely completion of SOX controls and corporate/external audits; provide supporting documentation and resolve CDRs;
- Quality and General
- Understand and apply required accounting policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with the team lead in developing procedures and work instructions;
- Demonstrate high levels of motivation to ensure effective teamwork and a performance-driven culture;
- Develop and monitor action plans to improve performance and mitigate operational risks;
- REQUIRED PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration;
- 0-3 years of experience in accounting, Big Four auditing, or financial reporting;
- Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, and/or Financekit;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Clear and effective communication across different organizational levels;
- Ability to work collaboratively with service providers;
- Knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting standards is a plus;
