Financial Accountant

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably within the IT/Technology services industry.
• Strong understanding and practical application of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing accounting activities across multiple legal entities in a global environment.
• Proven experience with multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Ability to review, analyze, and validate financial information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reconciliation activities.
• Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new ERP systems, accounting platforms, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to support month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role will help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and compliance across multiple legal entities and currencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.
