Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing local operations, managing statutory compliance, and championing value creation across our BPO solutions. Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Reporting: Orchestrate the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting (FP&A) process, delivering board-level financial reporting and strategic insights that represent the full health of the HelloConnect business.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the strategic financial co-pilot to the Manila leadership team. You will translate complex financial metrics into actionable operational strategies, supporting decisions on headcount planning, infrastructure, cost efficiency and local expansion.
- Global-Local Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between local operations in the Philippines and the Global Finance team in Berlin. You will ensure local financial nuances are accurately captured and represented in global consolidated reporting.
- Team Leadership: Develop, lead, and mentor a high performing local finance team of 8-10 FTEs across our Philippines locations, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Operational Ownership & Compliance: Oversee the daily operations of Accounting, Controlling, and Payroll. Ensure strict compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements and lead the relationship with internal and external auditors.
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Understand, maintain, and sophisticatedly scale our financial model to budget, re-forecast and continuously track actual performance of the business against budget.
- Process & Technology Innovation: Champion digital transformation within the finance function by implementing automated solutions and modern tools to scale operations, enhance data integrity, and eliminate manual redundancies.
Requirements
- Comprehensive Financial Expertise: Deep fluency in P&Ls, Balance Sheets (IFRS), and Cash Flow statements. You are adept at explaining complex financial dynamics to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven Leadership Experience: Multiple years of progressive leadership experience in a Finance function, ideally within the BPO, tech, or multinational shared services sector. You have a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working within a global matrix organization. You know how to navigate different cultures, time zones, and reporting structures (experience partnering with European/German HQ is a major plus).
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Bulletproof Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience in an enterprise performance management (EPM) tool (in Workday Adaptive is a plus). You can develop dynamic, scalable, and error-free financial models to forecast costs, and cash flow.
- Impactful Communication: Exceptional English communication skills. You don't just report numbers; you tell the story behind the numbers in a clear, concise way to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, or CMA) or an MBA are advantageous but not mandatory.
