Responsibilities
- Public Area Operations
- Conduct routine inspections of lobbies, corridors, washrooms, event spaces, restaurants, and other public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.

- Report equipment defects and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Maintenance Coordination
- Identify maintenance issues within public areas and liaise with Engineering for timely rectification.
- Follow up on repair requests to ensure guest-facing areas remain in optimal condition.
- Support preparations for VIP visits, functions, and special hotel events.
- Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all public spaces reflect the hotel's luxury standards and create a positive impression for guests.
- Address guest feedback relating to cleanliness or public areas promptly and professionally.
- Implement corrective measures and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall presentation and service quality.
- Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance requests, inventory usage, and team attendance.
- Support departmental cost-control initiatives through efficient resource management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and operational standards at all times.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a secure environment for guests and colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or public area operations, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemical handling procedures.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel standards will be an advantage.
