Requirements

• Your essential qualifications are compassion, a passion for practicing good medicine, and a willingness to collaborate, learn, and teach.
• You thrive on clinical banter, and you know that most of the success in veterinary medicine resides in your ability to effectively communicate with people.
• You will be leading an amazing team of RVT's and tech assistants with respect and confidence.
• We will provide you with a wide array of diagnostic and treatment tools at your disposal.
• You can think under pressure, examine, and triage promptly, diagnose short- and long-term health issues quickly, consult directly with clients with emotional intelligence, and communicate with referring clinics professionally.
• You must be in compliance with all regulating agencies for veterinary medicine and have a current California license.

Advanced Veterinary Specialty Group (AVSG) Internal Medicine/Emergency/Critical Care is looking to add a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to our team! Our mission is to provide a solution to the challenges faced by our patients, clients, and local general practitioners in a timely and efficient manner. This role would consist of two or three days per week working closely with our internists, emergency doctors, and surgeons in a growing, dynamic environment. We provide emergency services as well as specialty services, including Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and we have FIVE boarded Veterinary Surgeons.
