About the role

This is a high-priority hire supporting high-volume commercial contracts to work for a global client base that includes founders, high-growth companies, and institutional platforms. This role offers direct ownership of client relationships and counterparty negotiations within a fully remote, modern law firm structure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of a high-volume pipeline of commercial agreements , specifically including NDAs, master services agreements, vendor arrangements, and technology transactions ( ensuring rapid turnaround and strict adherence to internal playbooks.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the strategic application of legal playbooks and agentic workflows, navigating cross-border commercial considerations as required.
  • Drive AI-powered process automation across legal and operational functions. Identifying inefficiencies, deploying scalable solutions, and raising the AI fluency bar firm-wide
  • Identify and mitigate confidentiality and commercial risks within standard transactions, expertly spotting non-standard terms and escalating complex issues outside the established playbook.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal deal teams and stakeholders to ensure rapid contract turnaround and alignment on negotiation strategy.
  • Manage a demanding, high-volume workflow in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, delivering exceptional accuracy without sacrificing speed.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial contracts.
  • Deep interest in AI, innovation, and the future of legal services
  • Strong background in outsourcing and commercial contracting
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex, high-value agreements and direct client interaction
  • LL.M. from a U.S. institution or US bar eligibility strongly preferred
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a lean, remote-first environment
  • Genuinely strong written and spoken English - this role involves daily interaction with English speaking clients and sophisticated counterparties.
