Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Terminal (Fixed Term) Job Profile: Researcher I Job Summary: This Researcher I position serves as an EEG Specialist within the Raison Lab, supporting clinical research studies focused on neurophysiological outcomes. The position provides technical expertise in electroencephalography (EEG) and is responsible for the setup, administration, and quality control of EEG procedures in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting EEG procedures; interpreting and analyzing EEG data; maintaining and troubleshooting equipment; supporting data handling and the preparation of progress reports; and providing training and oversight to research staff to ensure consistency and protocol compliance across studies. This role involves close collaboration with investigators and research staff, with study sessions that include evenings, weekends, and overnight hours. Additional Information: Terminal, 12- month appointment This position is full or part-time, 80 %- 100 % This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years. Collects data and monitors test results Operates, cleans, and maintains organization of research equipment and research area.
