About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join a Financial Services organisation's central BI team. You will deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support key business areas including Development Finance, Wholesale, and Asset Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver BI reporting, dashboards, and analytics using Tableau / Power BI
  • Write and optimise SQL queries to extract and analyse data
  • Maintain and enhance reporting systems and automate reporting processes
  • Support business stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and insights
  • Partner with teams to define reporting requirements and KPIs
  • Support change and transformation projects from a data perspective
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting output
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve business performance
  • About You
  • Experience in BI, MI, or Data Analytics roles
  • Background in Financial Services or Banking (essential)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets
  • Advanced Tableau skills (Power BI desirable)
  • Strong Excel and analytical capability
  • Able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Agile / Jira experience
  • Knowledge of data warehousing (ETL, Data Vault)
  • Exposure to advanced analytics or AI reporting
