Structural Steel Fabrication Team Lead

Requirements

• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication , including fitting, layout, and production operations
• Previous experience leading or supervising fabrication teams
• Strong knowledge of structural steel materials, fabrication methods, and welding processes
• Familiarity with CNC fabrication equipment and material handling operations
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and cost-conscious production practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when production schedules require
• High school diploma or equivalent

This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating shop activities, guiding production teams, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. The supervisor will work closely with leadership, quality teams, and maintenance to keep production on track and continuously improve shop performance.
