Accountant Analyst

About the role

Contribute to the TDW finance team by performing corporate accounting activities and participating in the establishment and monitoring of accounting policies and procedures. Accountant Analyst will perform a variety of accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Performs a variety of accounting activities
• Review and validate expense reports (CONCUR), ensuring proper supporting documentation, correct account coding, VAT application, weekly posting, and timely follow-up.
• Provide support in Accounts Payable activities, including basic review of invoices and purchase orders to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Assist in the control, recording, and updating of Fixed Assets records.
• Administrative management of insurance, calculation and monitoring of amortizations, and accurate accounting records to ensure accounting and tax compliance.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager on assigned tasks.
• Prepare and support account reconciliations, timely completes the monthly corporate accounting checklist and related account analyses.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Develops and contributes to a positive team dynamic to ensure high performance.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement process within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3-5 years
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to understand overall business operations and perform analytical reviews,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team and with all levels of employees,
• Proficient in the use of accounting software packages and capable of performing advanced spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to meet deadlines
