Assistant Buyer (Beauty)

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP master data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of product information while generating reports to support the team's decision-making process.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders within the Purchasing team to develop plans that maximise product performance through data analysis and commercial insights.
• Analyse brand and vendor performance to support buying decisions and category planning.
• Maintain product listings, new product setups, product information updates, and the management of ageing or end-of-life products to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support the buying team with day-to-day purchasing activities and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
• Key Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Business or a related discipline, with prior experience in a purchasing or buying support function, preferably within Retail and/or the Beauty, Perfumes & Cosmetics category.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, and Teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and structured in approach, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
