About the role

LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 p.a. inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 p.a. inclusive of London allowance Funding is currently available to support this position until 31 st July 2031 initially, with possibility of extension (subject to funding). The Programme Manager will serve as the key organisational and strategic lead for the Stone Centre for Wealth Inequality, a new centre at LSE which will work to deepen understanding of how entrepreneurship drives - and is shaped by wealth inequality - equipping policymakers to build societies that are both innovative and equitable. The post-holder will work closely with the leadership team to turn the Centre's ambitious vision into reality. They will provide management across governance, project development, funding, communications and events, and play a formative role in shaping the growth and evolution of the Centre. The role is ideally suited to a highly organised, proactive and intellectually curious individual who can combine strategic thinking with excellent delivery skills and who is motivated by the Centre's mission to create more inclusive and innovative societies. The successful candidate will have: An undergraduate/master's degree in economics , public policy or another relevant social-science discipline. Demonstrable experience managing complex programmes or research initiatives. Confidence in engaging with senior academics, policymakers, funders and external stakeholders.
