Southern District of Florida in Miami, Florida. The selectee of this position serves as an Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for overseeing the activities, projects, and mission needs of the District. This includes coordinating all activities in support of the operational mission. GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. You may qualify at the GS-0341-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year (12 months) of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Reviewing policies and procedures to recommend improvements to administrative operation's effectiveness and efficiency; Providing advice related to personnel functions such as hiring, employee performance, and/or training; Ensuring all procurement actions are processed in adherence to applicable statutes and regulations; and Monitoring the execution of an organizations approved budget to ensure that funds are obligated and spent in an appropriate and effective manner. (NOTE: Your resume must CLEARLY demonstrate this experience). Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level.
