About the role

Going Out is an exciting new vector for DoorDash. We're driving DoorDash customers into our partners' physical stores, boosting sales and building long-term loyalty across every channel. We're crafting a seamless, exciting dining experience-from discovery to dessert. Right now, Going Out lives in the DoorDash app, featuring top restaurant recommendations and exclusive in-store discounts. But we're just getting started-VIP experiences, loyalty perks, reservations, payments, and more are on the way. We're a scrappy, fast-moving team building a startup within a big company. We take risks, move fast, and roll up our sleeves to make things happen. As a Strategy & Operations Associate Manager focused on the customer side of our Going Out product you'll own critical pieces of the customer go to market strategy. You will report to our Director of In-Store and work on some of the most urgent projects as the team prepares to scale our product Nationwide. You'll own and collaborate on critical components of our business including the Going Out customer journey, the Going Out interaction with DashPass, our in-app conversion (from DoorDash visitor to in-store visitor), monthly retention and order frequency for the product and more. You'll even design and execute experiments to learn about new products we may bring into the Going Out tab. This role will also include regular customer research, and tons of collaboration with product, marketing, and sales. You're excited about this opportunity because you will... Build - help launch an exciting new product at DoorDash Strategize - Set the strategy for customer experience on Going Out Experiment - Scope tests and experiments on everything from activation to optimization Implement - Execute new marketing and comms plans to help our customer base grow Analyze - Build models to evaluate success and set new goals Influence - Work with our Product, Engineering, Operations and Sales teams to scale Going Out We're excited about you because... You have 4+ years of experience in management consulting / tech / design / investment banking / corporate strategy / business development / business operations or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience strongly preferred You have an established track record of achieving tangible outcomes and moving needles You have experience leading projects, working in a team, and motivating people at all levels across a variety of job responsibilities You can translate high-level goals into applicable plans & action items You have excellent Excel skills (can perform complex functions); SQL knowledge a bonus We expect this position to be filled by 8/7/2026.
