Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Developing or reviewing technical repair specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), and maintenance planning documentation (e.g. technical reports, fact sheets, status reports, schedules) related to major ship repair projects. Supporting projects related to the installation, modification, and retrofitting of shipboard equipment. Participating in material condition surveys and inspections to determine the actual condition of a ship's hull, machinery, and electrical components. Providing technical support for marine systems and equipment. Collaborating with engineering, logistics, and contracting stakeholders to support vessel repair method compliance with government and industry standards.
