About the role

As Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end site logistics operation, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the site's supply chain strategy, working cross-functionally with Planning, Sales, and external partners to optimise stock levels, service levels, and cost efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, embed TPM principles, and further develop a high-performing logistics organisation aligned to Essity's iCare culture.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety‑first culture, ensuring compliance, proactive risk identification, and continuous improvement in all warehouse activities
  • Ensure and optimise the flow, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods across the site
  • Lead and develop the logistics team, setting clear priorities and objectives aligned to site strategy
  • Drive a strong iCare culture , ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment
  • Coordinate stock optimisation for both raw materials and finished goods in collaboration with Planning
  • Deliver logistics performance through KPI management (service level, stock, cost) and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and implement customer-focused logistics solutions in collaboration with Sales and Regional Business Logistics
  • Own and deliver the site supply chain strategy
  • Manage relationships and negotiate with external service providers, warehouses, and transport partners
  • Drive cost efficiency, productivity improvements, and operational excellence across logistics processes
  • Implement and embed TPM principles within the logistics function
  • Develop and implement new systems, routines, and processes to support business needs
  • Act as a role model for leadership, performance management, coaching, and development within your team

Requirements

  • Experience working within logistics, supply chain, or a related environment
  • Experience in driving transformation initiatives, including process redesign, system implementation, or organizational change.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, engage and develop teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working in a matrix organisation
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance and data-driven decision making
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver operational results
  • Experience working with KPIs such as service level, stock, and costs
