The successful candidate is expected to be a detail oriented, experienced engineer who can make decisions independently under the guidance of senior staff. The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following: Support Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing initiatives Supervise and lead a team of electrical engineers through their individual and team technical development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction Serve as Electrical Lead/Engineering of Record on all size projects maintaining responsibility for deliverable development and contributing to the design work Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing group specific standards/templates and researching and recommending software packages/plug-ins Develop task and deliverable list with associated hours estimate and schedule to support business development activities Multi-discipline collaboration on the development of equipment general arrangements, P&ID's, asset and tie-in lists, orthographic, etc. Provides technical expertise for risk assessments, due diligence and other studies presenting complex technical solutions to clients. Supporting projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning Directing and contributing to the development of electrical engineering lists, specifications and drawings (e.g. equipment specifications, cable and conduit load lists, one lines, wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts) Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others Participating in and presenting engineering work at internal and client meetings including those requiring occasional travel Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering 6 years of related experience in Electrical Engineering for Power Generation Facilities EIT Certification with the ability to license as a PE within 1 year.
